Meet Dr. Matthew Agnini
Dr. Matthew Agnini, known as Dr. Matt to his patients, is the founder and owner of Greater Florida Dental Implants. He graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2002 and completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Baltimore in 2003. This residency provided Dr. Matt with extensive training in both the surgical and restorative phases of dental implants.In 2004, Dr. Matt joined his father and later his brother to form Agnini Family Dental in Lakeland, Florida, where he practiced for 13 years. In 2018, Dr. Matt relocated to Leesburg, Florida, where he specialized in extractions, dentures, and dental implants, focusing on full-mouth surgery and restoration with implants until 2024. Currently, Dr. Matt offers a range of services, including All on X, extractions, single-tooth implants, and denture services such as extractions with immediate dentures and snap-in dentures. Additionally, he has been a licensed sedation dentist in Florida since 2007, providing sedation for surgical dental procedures.
Dr. Matt served as the official Spring Training dentist for the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Florida, from 2003 to 2017. He was also the President of the Polk County Dental Association from 2010 to 2011. Dr. Matt was honored with the “Best Dentist” award in Polk County, as voted by local residents through the Lakeland Ledger.
